1. Home Remedies. for Elephantiasis

Cloves

Clove is best and very effective home remedy for treatment of Elephantiasis. Use cloves as a flavor as habitually as possible. The enzymes present in cloves will help in killing all type of juvenile parasites and effectively remove them from the bloodstream. Take whole cloves and grind them for the maximum results, or one can also add whole cloves to hot tea or coffee.

Black Walnut Oil

Take Black Walnut Oil and add three drops of oil in one cup of warm water, and drink this daily twice. Once ingested, the compounds inside the walnut oil will effectively reduce the number of worms entering the bloodstream as juveniles. For best results take this daily at least for six weeks. It is very effective remedy for elephantiasis treatment.

Diet

Make some simple additions in your daily diet for elephantiasis treatment. Like taking garlic and pineapple daily is beneficial as both contain enzymes that have important anti-parasitic properties that can help to clear foreign invaders from body. Eat more Vitamin A rich foods like sweet potatoes, carrots and apricots.

Self-Care at Home

Avoid activities that increase intra-abdominal pressure (lifting, coughing, or straining) that may cause the hernia to increase in size.

There are several foods and other matters that are commonly associated with aggravating the symptoms. Before considering medicines or surgery, it is often worthwhile making changes to avoid such things as:

Hot foods and drinks

Spicy foods

Acidic foods

Foods which are difficult to digest

Smoking Alcohol Being overweight

Do not apply any heat to the area and avoid any pressure over the swollen area.

An ice bag may help to control the pain.Do not exhaust yourself.Do not exercise with full stomach.If you are overweight, losing weight alone may relieve the symptoms.Avoid wearing tight clothes around your chest or abdomen. They put pressure on the stomach.Elevate the head of your bed 6 inches by placing bricks under the bed frame. Gravity will help prevent stomach acid from moving up into esophagus as you sleep. Do not use pillows, as they tend to increase pressure on the abdomen. This is very effective home remedy for hernia.

Avoid eating large meals. Eating small, frequent, bland meals to keep pressure on the esophageal sphincter.Do not eat for at least 2 hours before going to sleep.Avoid spicy and acidic foods.Do not bend over or lie down after eating.For hernia treatment avoid drinking alcohol.Avoid eating fats or high cholesterol foods that causes bloating in the abdomen.Avoid constipation, avoid straining during bowel movements and protect the back when lifting heavy objects.

4. Home remedy for frequent urination.

This is a Simple home remedy for those who have the irritating problem of frequent urination. This habit is due to a variety of reasons; these can range between excessive heat in the bladder and urinary tract or even due to stress related problems. This habit of frequent urination is most irritating especially during the night. In such cases all you have to do is to take some skin of the Pomegranate fruit and grind it to a fine paste.Then take a pinch of this paste along with about 5 grams of water two times a day, preferably in the morning and evening. This has to be done for a period of 10 days. This is said to reduce the excessive heat in the bladder and the urinary tract and cure the problem of frequent urination.

Diet for Frequent Urination

 

In general, people who suffer from frequent urination should eat a lot of fresh yogurt, which is preferably unflavored. Yogurt contains lactobacillus hydrophilus that prevents the invasion of bacteria into your body.

5. Home remedies for Leg cramp.

simple remedies to stop the onset of leg cramp. They both involve applying pressure to pressure points.

One pressure point is between and to the front of the space between your big toe and the second toe. Firm pressure with one or two fingers at the onset of cramp will stop it instantly.

The other pressure point is the Septum? which is the lower bone between the nostrils. Firm pressure on this point with the inside of the forefinger at the first sign of lower leg cramp will stop it dead.

use a 50% combination of orange juice and tea. it workd 99% of the time. try the opposite ear lob pinch next time also.

1. Crush 1 radish

2. Add some milk to make a thick paste

3. Mix well

1. Take 1 tbsp cumin seed powder

2. Add water to make a thick paste

3. Mix well

4. Apply on the affected area

10. Home remedies for Psoriasis:

• Psoriasis mostly occurs between 15-30 years of age

Symptoms to look for:

• Red scaly patches, which usually appear around:

o Torso

o Knees

o Elbows

• Dry skin

• Itching

• Silver flaky scales

• Joint pain

• Genital lesions in men

• Discolouration of nails

• Excessive dandruff

Causes:

• Skin cells grow, die and fall off in a period of 1 month

• In psoriasis, the cycle is reduced to 4 days

Natural home remedy using cabbage:

1. Take 1 bowl of crushed cabbage leaves

2. Take a bowl of hot water

3. Place the bowl of cabbage leaves inside the bowl of hot water, till the

leaves turn lukewarm

4. Apply the lukewarm cabbage leaves on the affected area

5. Cover with a soft woollen cloth

6. Wrap with an elastic bandage for 2-3 hr

 

Natural home remedy using bitter gourd and lemons:

1. Take 1 glass of bitter gourd juice

2. Add 1 tsp lemon juice

3. Mix well

1. Take 300 ml of water

2. Add 2 tbsp of coriander seeds

3. Boil for 15-20 min

4. Strain the mixture

5. Allow it to cool

6. Use this as eyewash twice a day

Natural home remedy using tea bag:

1. Tannin, a chemical in the tea, helps get relief from the painful bump near the eye

2. Take a tea bag

3. Dip it in water

4. Remove and press it on the stye for 5-6 min
