1.Body activity, which enhances the supply of nutrients to the spinal disc is important to delay the deterioration precess. Thus, the first natural treatment for cervical spondylitis is to take up activities like walking, bicycling and swimming.

2.Four meals a day should have milk, salad of raw vegetables, steamed vegetables and whole wheat. This meets the need of vitamin D,C phosperous and calcium which helps build healthy muscles.

3.One of the very old and effective natural treatment of cervical spondylitis is the use of garlic. Two to three garlic cloves should be eaten in empty stomach in the morning everyday. Heat some mustard oil with few cloves of garlic and use this oil for body massage. This lessens the pain within days.

4.Intake of lemon juice with salt thrice a day can reduce the pain.

Compress the joint by wrapping it in bandage to reduce the swelling and pain. Finally, keep the injured area elevated and rest as much as possible. Over-the-counter or prescription analgesics may relieve pain.A gentle exercise program will help to regain strength and mobility or a physical therapist may also assist with rehabilitation. If the ligament is torn, the joint may be placed in plaster or in severe cases, surgery may be required. It is highly recommended that you avoid all strenuous activities during the recovery period.

 

Simply mix the egg yolk and tumeric into a paste and apply to the affected joint (do not apply to broken skin or open wounds).

1. Garlic has pain relieving properties

2. Take a frying pan

3. Add 60 ml of coconut oil

4. Add 8-10 cloves of garlic

5. Fry this mixture till garlic turns dark brown

6. Apply this oil when lukewarm on the affected area

Honey and Lime: Add one tablespoon of honey and 2-3 drops of fresh lime-juice in one cup of water. Drink this solution when warm. Honey will relieve a runny nose and cough as well.

 

Salt Treatment: Get a cup of warm water and put 2 tablespoons of salt in it, then breathe in the steam. The steam removes secretions and helps in getting the mucous out.

 

Ginger: Chewing ginger is a great runny nose treatment. It drains the nose and maintains normal body temperature.

 

Menthol Steam: Get a bowl of hot steaming water and then add menthol and inhale the steam slowly. For best results try mixing menthol with eucalyptus and tea tree oil.

 

Gum: chew a piece of gum every now and then, preferably mint flavored.

 

Take a Hot Shower: And inhale the steam while in the shower. The hot steam should unclog your nose and it’s a very effective way to kill the viruses causing the runny nose.

 

Handstand: Doing a handstand for as long as you can should unblock your sinuses. If you can’t do it then lie on a bed with your waist on the edge and allow your head to be as near to the floor as possible.

 

Get a Massage: Massage your nose bridge gently. Using your thumb and index finger, apply a soft up and down stroke on the bridge of your nose, until you are able to breathe easy.

Fill a tall clear glass with regular tap water and set it down on a table. You will need to be able to see inside the glass, so work in a well lit area.

The home remedies are as follows:–

 

1. Give one fresh green Amala to a child to chew and eat ,it helps the child to stop stammering as this remedy will thin the tongue ,and the speech of a child will become clear, have it until results are obtained.

 

2. Rub 7 seeds of almond on a grater with 7 seeds of black pepper with few drops of water make the paste and to it add some sugar candy (mishri),lick this mixture for 15 days early in the morning, empty stomach .This will help to stop stammering or stuttering in a child.

 

3. Mix some black pepper powder to home made butter and have it until stammering or stuttering is stopped.

 

4. Take a bay leaf and place it under the tongue, it helps to improve the speech .

 

5.Green coriander leaves and golden shower flower’s fruit pulp is mixed with water and is churned to make a medication for stammering or stuttering,Gargling with this mixture for 21 days.It helps to thin the tongue surface and clear the speech .

 

6. A single exercise which parents can perform with the children who stammer ,that is ,take a thin muslin clean cloth ,ask the child to put out its tongue ,hold the tip of the tongue with the cloth and give a slight jerk to the tongue and pull it forward ,if this is dome for few months the child will start speaking clearly .(just pull once a day )
