The oatmeal/sugar will scrub away any dead skin and leave hands feeling soft and fresh.
Blending fresh, unsweetened milk cream or plain milk with half a teaspoon of turmeric and half a teaspoon of sandalwood powder creates a paste, which can be used on the hands as well. Coat your knuckles with this mixture, which should be the consistency of toothpaste, and leave it on for about ten to fifteen minutes or till it starts flaking. Gently scrub it off with a dry loofah or sponge. Wash off the remnants. Caution: turmeric has a tendency to stain skin yellow so make sure you don’t leave it on for too long. The yellow color fades away naturally over a couple of days.
