SUN POWER THERAPY

SUN POWER THERAPY

Sunlight is vital. Obviously, there would be no physical life without it. However, the benefits of sunlight go way beyond the physical.  The purest form of Vitamin D comes from the SUN and it’s FREE! Finally something that has many benefits and is quite convenient, without harmful and dangerous side affects.

Contrary to popular belief, regular sun bathing is extremely important. Recent breakthrough studies have shown that spending even short intervals of 10 to 15 minutes in the sun allows your body to produce vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin. Researchers now agree that vitamin D deficiency is linked to many cancers—and is most strongly linked with breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancer.

However, we must still take caution with sun exposure and be careful not to burn. At the beginning of the season, go out gradually and limit your exposure to perhaps as little as 10 minutes a day during the early morning hours.
Progressively increase your time in the sun so that in a few weeks you will be able to have normal sun exposure with little risk of skin cancer. You will need to carefully determine your own sunlight needs and skin tolerances and learn what kind of exposure you need to tan without burning.

Remember, wearing sunglasses and sunblock…you are blocking your body from the sun. The sun filters into the eyes giving energy to the endocrine system. Did you know the sun holds all the colors of the rainbow?
We can actually absorb sun energy and utilize its nutrients in many different ways–including via sun gazing, sun bathing, drinking sun-charged water, walking barefoot on dirt or sand, and by eating raw, live food.

Let There Be Sunlight!   Our Ultimate Biological Nutrient

In the expansive and ever-changing world of nutrition                     science, I take refuge in the simplicity of knowing that the most    essential nutrients come from our sun, air, and water.  And I doubt that this fact will change anytime soon.

Sunlight is vital. Obviously, there would be no physical life without it. However, the benefits of sunlight go way beyond the physical.  For example, did you notice the revitalizing effect sunlight had on your spirits when you enjoyed the first warm rays of summer after the long Montana winter and cloudy, wet spring?

We can actually absorb sun energy and utilize its nutrients in many different ways–including via sun gazing, sun bathing, drinking sun-charged water, walking barefoot on dirt or sand, and by eating raw, live food.

Absorbing Sun Energy

I was introduced to the concept of sun gazing about a year ago when I heard a lecture by Hira Ratan Manek (HRM), a mechanical engineer from India who has clinically proven that a person can live on just solar energy and water for very long periods of time without eating any food.

In addition to the nutritional benefits of sun gazing, this ancient method is also believed to activate the untapped, inherent powers of the brain through the eyes. Many sun gazers have claimed to experience healing of both mental and physical illnesses, as well as improved memory and concentration. In order to understand how and when to safely utilize the HRM method of sun gazing, go to www.solarhealing.com.

Another way to absorb the sun’s energy is by drinking sun-charged water. You can do this by simply putting a glass jar of purified water in the sun for at least eight hours and then drinking that water within the next 24 hours. You can also use this water on any skin conditions, cuts, or lesions. My skeptical but desperate sister used sun-charged water on a surgery incision that was not healing properly and she experienced significant improvement overnight.

When is the last time you walked barefoot on the beach or on bare dirt? Perhaps you didn’t realize at the time, but you were absorbing the sun’s energy through your feet while walking on the bare earth. (By the way, walking barefoot on grass or concrete doesn’t have the same effect.)

Bio photons and Food

And last but not least, we can absorb sun energy via our food. The more sunlight a food is able to store, the more nutrition it has. Naturally grown, fresh vegetables, for example, and sun-ripened fruits are rich in sunlight energy.

When we eat raw food, stored sun energy finds its way into our cells in the form of minute particles of light. These light particles are called “bio photons,” which are the smallest physical units of light. The higher the level of light energy a cell emits, the greater its vitality and the potential for the transfer of that sun energy to the individual. The capacity to store bio photons is therefore a somewhat hidden measure of the quality of our food.

According to Prof. A. Popp and Dr. H. Niggli, bio photons contain important information that controls complex vital processes in our body. The bio photons have the power to order, regulate and even elevate the organism to a higher coherence. Clear experimental studies show that bio photons have an important regulatory function not only within single cells, but also between the network of cells in our bodies.

Which foods have the most stored sun energy? Raw vegetables, fruits, herbs, sprouts, nuts and seeds. Cooking destroys some of the stored energy as well as enzymes and nutrients.

Significant differences have also been found in favor of organically produced food, but differences also occur with respect to location, freshness, and ripeness.  So be sure to visit your farmers’ markets this summer and take advantage of the local, organically grown produce to get your healthy dose of bio photons!

HOW TO MAKE SUN CHARGE WATER

Sun-charged Water Instructions

Follow these simple instructions to make your own sun-charged drink.

To sun-charge water, place fresh drinkable water into a clear glass container.  The maximum recommended container size is one gallon.  Using smaller and/or broader containers provide more surface area for the sunlight to directly contact, thus quickening the charging process.

Cover the clear glass container with a clear glass lid.  Do not use plastic, since plastic has been found to leech harmful chemicals into liquid and air.

Place the container in direct sunlight, outside on bare earth.  Do not place the container on grass, since grass will prevent charging.  If  bare earth is not available, choose a suitable material other than grass (sand, rock, cement, etc).

Leave the container outside for a minimum of 5 hours.  Depending on the season and planetary location, a container of water will be fully sun-charged between 5 and 8 hours.  Leaving the container in the direct sunlight longer than 8 hours will not harm it.

Do not leave the container of water outside over night.  Doing so will quickly drain the water of its charge.  In addition, no studies have been done to measure the effects of moon-charged water.  Moon-charging water is not recommended, since the moon produces no light of its own and has been shown to adversely affect some humans (lunacy).

Drink the sun-charged water immediately after it has been fully charged.  Sun-charged water may be stored for up to 24 hours.  After which time, it should be re-charged in the sunlight.  There is no need to refrigerate this water.  Science has shown that room-temperature drinking water is the most beneficial temperature.

In addition to drinking sun-charged water, this water can be applied directly to the skin through self-massage, soaks, or compresses.  Sun-charged water is also helpful when used as an eye-wash.

Tips

  • Always have a container of water being sun-charged outside.  This will allow for a continuous supply of sun-charged water ready for use.
  • During winter months, to avoid freezing and cracking the glass containers, place the container inside the home on a windowsill that gathers the most direct sunlight.
  • Use sun-charged water for house plants and pets.
  • Avoid the use of colored glass containers.  At this time, color therapy has not effectively standardized the relationships between different colors and localized areas of the human body.  It is safest to use clear glass that gathers white light, itself containing all the colors in the rainbow.

Sun Gazing

There are 5 different ways for the sun to be absorbed into our body.

  1. The most important is through our eyes; our entire bloodstream passes through our eyes twice within one hour and gets charged with the energy of the sun. Every 8 seconds, the sun filters through our eyes and into our body
  2. The sun can be absorbed and stored in the sun cells of the skin.
  3. Sun charged water brings sun energy to the metabolic system of the body. The air brings sunshine via the lungs to supply the metabolic function (both the nutritive system and the cleansing system).
  4. Sun ripened fruits and vegetables bring sunshine to our brain and bone structure.
  5. The pineal gland distributes the sunshine to the endocrine system.

How To Sun Gaze:
An hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset. Stare directly at the sun with the naked eye. It is scientifically proven beyond a reasonable doubt that during these times, one is free from UV and IR rays exposure, which is harmful to your eyes. Try to do them both times a day, but no less than 15 minutes a session. Best if you could do the whole hour!

Benefits:
Sun gazing also has the added advantage of getting vitamin A and D during the 1-hour safe period window. Vitamin A is necessary for the health of the eye, the only vitamin that the eye requires. If you sungaze, the spectacles and the associated power in the eye will go away and this will provide better eyesight without glasses.

The most basic benefits are improved health, increased energy levels, clearer thinking, an increase in awareness, a great time and opportunity to meditate and results from what is called wish fulfillment.Wish fulfillment is practiced during the time that you are gazing at the sun. One focuses on inner desire and needs, and having these things come into one’s life. It is an amazing practice. I have had the most inspirations and solutions while doing this.  Even when it’s cloudy out, or winter time…the sun is still there and available! Just because it’s cloudy or cold out, don’t lack in Vitamin D. Have you ever wondered why you burn faster when it’s cloudy out? The sun’s rays are bouncing off of the clouds back down to the earth, utilize the sun and it’s power…even on them cold and cloudy days!
